- Expose strapped down branch-off line (arrow M) for rear dashcam.
- Expose black plug (8.1) of dashcam wiring harness (8).
To do this, remove the fabric tape (41) and pocket (40) from dashcam wiring harness (8).
- Route branch-off line for rear dashcam of dashcam wiring harness (8) from vehicle interior fuse and relay module (F152/4) to A-pillar at top.
Route branch-off line for dashcam at rear above the window airbag (30).
Use a pull-through device.
- Route branch-off line for rear dashcam of dashcam wiring harness (8) on roof lining towards rear up to center of roof lining.
Route branch-off line for rear dashcam behind mount for rear clothes hook (arrow).
Route dashcam wiring harness (8) in front area at same height.
Route branch-off line for rear dashcam behind mount for rear grab handle.
- Strap down extended lengths of dashcam wiring harness (8) in area of their routing.
- Fasten dashcam wiring harness (8) on roof lining using felt adhesive tape.

- Remove cable duct (33) from liftgate and from rear roof frame.
- Route dashcam wiring harness (8) through opening for cable duct (33) at rear roof frame.
- Route dashcam wiring harness (8) through cable duct (33) into liftgate.
- Route dashcam wiring harness (8) by dimension (a) beyond center of tailgate (b) to the left.
a = 170 mm
Coat cable duct (33) from inside with silicone spray before routing.
Use a pull-through device.
- Fix dashcam wiring harness (8) in place with cable ties (arrows).
- Attach cable duct (33).
