General 

The interior equipment concerns the sum of all functional equipment and visual designs of the vehicle interior.

The basic tasks of the interior equipment are:

• Increase vehicle safety.
• Increase ride comfort.
• Customize vehicle.

The interior equipment is combined in different equipment lines (e.g. AMG Line) on a model-series-specific basis.

Function 

Depending on the equipment installed, a wide range of functions are available.

The functions range from increased comfort (e.g. due to a garage door opener) and increased safety (e.g. a dimming inside rearview mirror) for the passengers to customization of the vehicle interior.

The following functions of the interior equipment are described here:
