| 1 | Take charging cables (1a) and (1b) out of the vehicle. | ||
| Check | |||
| 2 | Check entire length of charging cable (1a), plugs and switches for cracks, kinks, bites, cuts, crushed areas, chafe marks and other damage. | If problems are determined, ↓ replace charging cable (1a). |

| 3 | Check entire length of charging cable (1b), plugs and switches for cracks, kinks, bites, cuts, crushed areas, chafe marks and other damage. | If problems are determined, ↓ replace charging cable (1b). |

| 4 | Place charging cables (1a) and (1b) in vehicle. | ||

| 5 | Check charger feed socket (2) for damage. | If problems are determined, ↓ Replace charger feed socket (2). |

| 6 | Check that caps (3) are firmly seated on charger feed-in socket (2). | If problems are determined, ↓ Replace charger feed socket (2). |

| 7 | Check drain (4) for clear passage and soiling. | Remove any soiling. This is because water must not collect in the charger feed socket (2) area. If problems are determined, ↓ rectify the problems. |

| 8 | Check locks (5) by opening and closing caps (3). | If problems are determined, ↓ Replace charger feed socket (2). |
