| 1 | Release trim of the trunk lid (1) until nut (2) is accessible. | AR68.30-P-8151MFV | |
| 2 | Unbolt nut (2). | ||
| 3 | Remove inner rear left lamp unit (E3/1) or inner rear right lamp unit (E4/1) far enough until the electrical connector is accessible. | Carefully position inner rear left lamp unit (E3/1) or inner rear right lamp unit (E4/1). Otherwise adjacent parts may be damaged. Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This leads to line damage. |

| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector of inner rear left lamp unit (E3/1) or inner rear right lamp unit (E4/1). | ||
