| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove steering wheel. | AR46.10-P-0100MFA | |
| 2 | Remove steering column tube module control unit (N80) from steering column tube (4) until cover (3) can be unclipped. | ||
| 3 | Unclip cover (3) from steering column tube module control unit (N80). | ||
| 4 | Remove steering column tube module control unit (N80) from steering column tube (4) until the electrical connector (1) and retaining clip (2) are accessible. | Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. |

Do not operate red safety catches in steering column tube module control unit (N80). Clock spring contact will otherwise be destroyed. |

| 5 | Unclip retaining clip (2). | Fig 2 | |
| 6 | Remove actuator lock of electrical connector | ||
| 7 | Release electrical connector (1), disconnect, and remove steering column tube module control unit (N80). | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

| 9 | Carry out commissioning of steering column tube module control unit (N80). | If the steering column tube module control unit (N80) has been replaced. | |
