General
The seat control unit performs the following tasks:
- Control of electrical seat adjustment
- Control of memory function
- Control of the easy entry/exit feature
- Actuation of the crash-active easy exit function
- Control of avoidance of collision with rear seats
- Control of the seat heater
- Actuation of the seat ventilation
Depending on the equipment installed, the seat control unit is used for the following seats:
- Driver seat
- Passenger seat
- Left rear seat (second seat row)
- Right rear seat (second seat row)
Location
The driver's seat/front passenger seat control unit is located at the bottom of the seat frame base of each seat.
The left/right rear seat control unit is located at the front of the seat frame base of the respective rear seat.
