General 

The armrest heating control unit regulates the functions of the armrest heating in the center console. Additionally, depending on the model, the requests for operating the heating function are transmitted by the rear SAM control unit via the LIN unit and sent accordingly to the heating elements of the armrest in the front center console. The temperature and function are constantly monitored through evaluation of the signals of the temperature sensors on the front center console armrest heating elements.

Location 

The armrest heating control unit (1) is located in the center console. This can, however, vary depending on the model. Separate installation locations are listed in the below table.
