Remove/Install Charge Air Distributor Connecting Flange - AR09.41-P-0008W

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove charge air distributor   AR09.41-P-8683RKA 
2 Remove screw/bolts (9) of left connecting flange (11) from outwards inwards When removing the left exhaust manifold (11).  
3 Remove screw/bolts (9) of right connecting flange (10) from outwards inwards When removing the right connecting flange (10).  
4 Remove left connecting flange (11) upwards When removing the left connecting flange (11).  
5 Remove right connecting flange (10) upwards When removing the right connecting flange (10).  
6 Close off intake ports of left cylinder head using rags When removing the left connecting flange (11).  
7 Close off intake ports of right cylinder head using rags When removing the right connecting flange (10).  
CLEAN Clean     
8 Remove sealant residues on left connecting flange (11) and on left cylinder head When removing the left connecting flange (11).
NOTES The sealing surfaces on the left connecting flange (11) and on the left cylinder head must not have any foreign objects, scratches or grooves.
Non-observance leads to leakage between the left connecting flange (11) and left cylinder head.
NOTES Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper.
The sealing surfaces can get damaged otherwise.
Loctite 7200		 *BR00.45-Z-1038-04A 
9 Remove sealant residues on right connecting flange (10) and on right cylinder head When removing the right connecting flange (10).
NOTES The sealing surfaces on the right connecting flange (10) and on the right cylinder head must not have any foreign objects, scratches or grooves.
Non-observance leads to leakage between the right connecting flange (10) and right cylinder head.
NOTES Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper.
The sealing surfaces can get damaged otherwise.
Loctite 7200		 *BR00.45-Z-1038-04A 
INSTALLING Install     
10 Replace seals of left connecting flange (11) on left cylinder head When removing the left connecting flange (11).  
11 Replace seals of right connecting flange (10) on right cylinder head When removing the right connecting flange (10).  
12 Remove rags from intake ports of left cylinder head When removing the left connecting flange (11).  
13 Remove rags from intake ports of right cylinder head When removing the right connecting flange (10).  
14 Position left connecting flange (11) on left cylinder head When removing the left connecting flange (11).  
15 Position right connecting flange (10) on right cylinder head When removing the right connecting flange (10).  
16 Remove screw/bolts (9) of left connecting flange (11) from inside outwards When removing the left connecting flange (11).
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, intermediate flange to cylinder head		 *BA09.41-P-1004-01R 
17 Remove screw/bolts (9) of right connecting flange (10) from inside outwards When removing the right connecting flange (10).
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, intermediate flange to cylinder head		 *BA09.41-P-1004-01R 
18 Install charge air distributor   AR09.41-P-8683RKA 
CHARGE AIR PIPE/CHARGE AIR COOLING
