1. Clip media interface wiring harness (8) into mounting console (2) with media interface electrical connector (X18/70).

2. Install mounting console (2) with media interface electrical connector (X18/70) in center console (1)

3. Route media interface wiring harness (8), as shown, through opening on underside of center console (1).

   Carry out operation step 4 only on vehicles with code (512) COMAND® APS with DVD changer or code (527) COMAND® APS with single DVD drive (with navigation).

4. Install branch-off line for video signal (9) on mounting bracket (arrow).

The branch-off line for video signal (9) is connected during the installation of the center console (1), the connector (10) of the media interface wiring harness (8) is connected to the media interface control unit.
