Install Additional Fan For COMAND® Online Incl. DVD Changer - AN82.85-P-0008-01WM

except code 810 (Premium sound system) 

The following operation steps describe installation in a left-hand drive vehicle. The work procedure may differ for right-hand drive vehicles.

1. Route air intake pipe (10), as shown, upwards between mounting slot for COMAND® controller unit and the air conditioner housing in the direction of the arrow.

2. Position air intake pipe (10), as shown, and clip guide (10.1) into mounting slot (11) of COMAND® controller unit.
3. Insert air intake pipe (10) into upper area in opening (arrow D) in mounting slot (11) of COMAND® controller unit.
4. Insert COMAND® fan motor (M4/13) into guides on air intake pipe (10) and turn to left.
5. Align COMAND® fan motor (M4/13) with attachment points (arrows A) and tighten using screws/bolts (12).

6. Slide air exhaust pipe (13) onto COMAND® fan motor (M4/13) and clip into lower section (arrow C) of mounting slot (11) of COMAND® controller unit.
7. Route wiring harness (14) of COMAND® fan motor (M4/13), as shown, through opening (arrow B) to the bracket (11.1).
8. Clip white, 4-pin connector (14.1) into bracket (11.1).
