Notes On Installing Brake Wear Indicator Contact Sensors - AH42.10-P-0003-01CW

Model 117, 118, 156, 166, 167, 172, 176, 177, 204, 207, 212, 217, 218, 222, 231, 242, 243, 246, 247, 292, 463 

There is one variant on the front axle:

• One Brake wear sensor on the right-hand side of the vehicle.

The following variants exist at the rear axle:

• No Brake pad wear sensor on the right-hand side of the vehicle.
• One Brake wear sensor on the right-hand side of the vehicle.

When replacing the Brake pads, reinstall the Brake pad wear sensor at the same position.

Route or install right front Brake pad wear sensor line (2) or electrical connector (1) as shown in the picture.

Route or install right rear Brake pad wear sensor line (3) or electrical connector (4) as shown in the picture.

For reasons of replacement part simplification, install the Brake pads so that the Brake pad wear sensors can be reinstalled at the corresponding assembly positions. The corresponding assembly position of the Brake pad wear sensors is specified in the list below.
