2. 1. 2.1 Drill hole (arrow) with dia. 19 mm.

   2. 2.2 Make cutout in glove box (22).

      Body jig saw

      Dimensions: 

      A = 45 mm

      B = 20 mm

3. Reduce wall thickness for glove box in cross-hatched area using square file.

   On vehicles without  code (518) Media interface. The wall thickness of the glove box has to be reduced such that the catch hooks of the covering for the Universal Media Interface connecting cable can latch into place.

4. Wrap felt tape around Universal Media Interface connecting cable (23) behind grommet (23.1).

   On vehicles with  code (518) Media Interface.

5. Route Universal Media Interface connecting cable (23) from inside through the opening in the glove box (22) and insert grommet (23.1) of Universal Media Interface connecting cable (23) from inside into glove box (22).

   On vehicles with  code (518) Media Interface.

6. Route Universal Media Interface connecting cable (2) from inside through the opening in the glove box (22) and clip in covering (2.3) of Universal Media Interface connecting cable (2) from inside into glove box (22).

On vehicles without  code (518) Media interface.

Make sure that the catch hooks (2.4) are latched into place.
