| 1 | Move driver-side wiper arm (1) and passenger-side wiper arm (2) to park position and switch off wiper system | ||
| 2 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit | ||
| 3 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | AR88.40-P-1000V | |
| Driver-side wiper arm (1) | |||
| 4 | Fold up cover (4) on driver-side wiper arm (1) | ||
| 5 | Unscrew nut (3) on the driver-side wiper arm (1) | *BA82.30-P-1004-01A | |
| 6 | Attach a puller (5) to the driver-side wiper arm (1), remove the driver-side wiper arm (1) from the left wiper shaft and then remove the puller (5) | Fig 2 | |
| 7 | Remove driver-side wiper arm (1) | ||

| 8 | Remove caps and unscrew nuts (6) at passenger-side wiper arm (2) | *BA82.30-P-1004-01A | |
| 9 | Loosen the passenger-side wiper arm (2) from the right wiper shaft and remove it | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order |
