	Remove/install
1	Remove left cover below instrument panel		AR68.10-P-1500RK
2	Remove adaptive damping system control unit (N51/5)	MODEL 231 with CODE 486 (Sports suspension) without CODE 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))	AR32.32-P-0500RK
3	Remove brake light switch (S9/1)		AR42.10-P-0040EW
4	Remove screw bolt (1)	Check screw bolt (1) for wear; replace if necessary. Lightly grease screw bolt (1). Long-life grease	*BR00.45-Z-1001-06A
		Stud for thrust rod	*BA29.10-P-1002-02D
5	Unscrew nuts (2) and remove brake pedal system (3)	Do not damage the rubber boot! If the brake pedal system (3) or components of the brake pedal mount are damaged, the brake pedal system (3) must be replaced as a complete unit (with bearing bracket). Nut, brake pedal assembly to body	*BA29.10-P-1001-02D
6	Install in the reverse order
