	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by high voltage at xenon headlamps. Risk of explosion/risk of fire  caused by highly flammable materials in the vicinity of damaged xenon bulbs. Risk of injury  caused by UV light, hot components at xenon headlamps and glass splinters produced by bursting xenon bulbs. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhalation of mercury vapors and by toxic salts and mercury compounds being ingested or coming into contact with skin	Do not come into contact with parts that are under high voltage. Persons with active electronic implants  (e.g. heart pacemakers) must never work on xenon headlamps. Switch off entire lighting system. Wear insulated safety shoes, safety glasses and protective gloves. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Ensure sufficient ventilation in the working area.	AS82.10-Z-0001-01A
1	Switch off exterior lights
2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)	KEYLESS-GO start-stop button (S2/3) only with code (889) KEYLESS-GO.
3	Detach left or right front section of fender liner	Detach left or right front section of fender liner until left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2) is accessible.	AR88.10-P-1300RK
4	Remove cap (1) of left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2) in direction of arrow (arrow A)
5	Unclip retaining bracket (2) of left xenon bulb with integrated ignition module (E1e10) or right xenon bulb with integrated ignition module (E2e10)	To do so, press together retaining bracket (2) toward left and right in direction of arrow (arrow B) and fold upward (arrow C).
6	Disconnect electrical connector (3)
7	Remove left xenon bulb with integrated ignition module (E1e10) or right xenon bulb with integrated ignition module (E2e10)	Carefully pull left xenon bulb with integrated ignition module (E1e10) or right xenon bulb with integrated ignition module (E2e10) out of reflector. Risk of breakage  of the bulb. Do not touch the bulb with bare fingers, but use an oil and grease-free, soft cloth. Otherwise the bulb will be damaged by overheating during operation.
8	Install in the reverse order
