1	Move back driver seat and front passenger seat
2	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003RK
3	Detach front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module		AR54.21-P-1261RK

5	Release door seal in area of left and right entrance
6	Unclip longitudinal member panel (3) at left and right in area of door sill (4) at left and right		AR88.80-P-6000RK

7	Remove left and right door sill (4)	The door sills (4) are no longer required.
8	Remove cover below left and right instrument panel
9	Fold over floor mat (1) at left and right
10	Remove trim (5) below steering column		AR68.10-P-1500RK
	Install
11	Mount left illuminated door sill molding and right illuminated door sill molding		AN82.20-P-0001-04RK

13	Install remaining parts
14	Enter special equipment in online vehicle data card via vehicle documentation system (VeDoc)	Add: Code (U25) Illuminated door sills
15	Document retrofitted equipment through VeDoc	Attach "Illuminated door sill moldings retrofitted as per AN82.20-P-00001RK" note under field organization texts to design group 82.
16	Connect Star Diagnosis and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)
17	Perform variant coding with XENTRY using the software calibration number (SCN)	Front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module.
18	Close Star Diagnosis
19	Perform function check on illuminated door sill moldings	Opening the doors activates the illuminated door sill moldings.
20	Remove protective foil from illuminated door sill moldings
