	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key
2	Open hand rest (1) and unclip telephone keypad (A2/7) through the opening (arrow A) from the housing for the telephone keypad (2) and detach electrical connection from telephone keypad (A2/7)
3	Remove bolt (3)
4	Open cover for tray on center console and unclip Audio/COMAND control panel (A40/9)	To unclip, reach with hand between the cover for the center console tray and the center console, and push the Audio/COMAND control panel (A40/9) upwards.
5	Lift Audio/COMAND control panel (A40/9) along with the telephone keypad housing (2) until the electrical connection (4) is accessible	The Audio/COMAND control panel (A40/9) is removed together with telephone keypad housing (2).
6	Disconnect electrical connection (4)
7	Install in the reverse order
