	Checking
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, tailgates or sliding roof.	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
	If complaints are submitted, the cause must be determined and rectified, against a separate repair order, following consultation with the customer
1	Park the vehicle on a level, horizontal surface	Pay attention to adequate gap in the door opening area otherwise damage to the body may occur.
2	Open driver door and check locking eye (1) as well as lock (2)	Do not oil or grease locking eye (1) and lock (2) in order to avoid increased wear due to adhering contamination. Check locking eye (1) as well as lock (2) for damage and tight seating.
3	Check door damper (3)	Do not oil or grease door damper (3) in order to avoid increased wear due to adhering contamination. Open and close driver door 2 to 3 times in a controlled manner. In the process pay attention to ease of movement and continuous catching of the door damper (3). An increased resistance overcoming the holding force of the door damper (3) does not justify a complaint.
4	Check seal (4) of the door damper (3)	Check seal (4) for damage, porous points and tight seating.
5	Repeat steps 2 to 4 on front passenger door and rear doors
6	Close driver door, front passenger door and rear doors
