| 1 | Perform initial startup of left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9) with diagnostic system | When replacing the left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9). | |

| 2 | Remove left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2) | MODEL 217 | AR82.10-P-4730LC |

| 3 | Remove screws/bolts (1) at left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9) | ||
| 4 | Pull out left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9) until electrical connectors (2, 3) can be separated | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connectors (2, 3) and remove left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9) | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order |
