| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | ||
| 2 | Remove engine cover (5) | ||
| 3 | Remove left engine intake air duct (9) | ||
| 4 | Remove center section of bulkhead | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connector from pressure sensor downstream of left cylinder bank air filter (B28/4) | ||
| 6 | Unscrew screw/bolt (7) and remove left air filter housing (6) | ||
| 7 | Remove noise insulation (8) | ||
| 8 | Detach vacuum line (2) at vacuum pump (1). | ||
| 9 | Detach vacuum hose (4) from vacuum pump (1) | ||
| 10 | Remove bolts (3) from vacuum pump (1) | *BA43.05-P-1001-01K | |
| 11 | Remove vacuum pump (1) upwards | ||
| 12 | Install in the reverse order | ||
