| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Unclip cover (1) using suitable tool at engagements (arrows). | ||
| 3 | Swivel cover (1) toward rear until all electrical connectors can be accessed. | ||
| 4.1 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (2, 3). | Model 222 with code 582 (Air conditioning, rear) |

| 4.2 | Release and disconnect electrical connector of rear air vent control. | Model 217 Model 222 except code 582 (Air conditioning, rear) |
|
| 5 | Pull cover (1) out of lower guides and remove. | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order. |
