	Remove
1	Unclip inner front door sill (3) on left and right with long wedge and remove	Long wedge	Fig 1
2	Unclip inner rear door sill (6) on left and right with long wedge and remove	On model 222.1 Long wedge	Fig 1
3	Remove front door seal (2) in area of outer front door sill (1) on left and right
4	Remove rear door seal (5) in area of outer rear door sill (4) on left and right	On model 222.1
5	Loosen front outer door sill (1) on left and right with long wedge and remove	Long wedge	Fig 1
6	Loosen rear outer door sill (4) on left and right with long wedge and remove	On model 222.1 Long wedge	Fig 1
	Install
7	Clean assembly area of front outer door sill (1) on left and right	Bonding surface should be free of grease and dust. Otherwise proper adhesion of the outer front door sill (1) is not ensured. Use commercially available surface conditioning disk with a diameter of 100 mm with mounting shaft. Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
8	Clean assembly area of outer rear door sill (4) on left and right	On model 222.1 Bonding surface should be free of grease and dust. Otherwise proper adhesion of the outer rear door sill (4) is not ensured. Use commercially available surface conditioning disk with a diameter of 100 mm with mounting shaft. Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
9	Remove protective foil on front outer door sill (1) on left and right	Standard outer front door sills (1) are replaced by new door sill accessories.
10	Remove protective foil on rear outer door sill (4) on left and right	On model 222.1 Standard outer rear door sills (4) are replaced by new door sill accessories.
11	Position outer front door sill (1) on left and right on longitudinal member, align and press on firmly	Uniformly and firmly press on front outer door sills (1) from center toward outside.
12	Position outer rear door sill (4) on left and right on longitudinal member, align and press on firmly	On model 222.1 Uniformly and firmly press on rear outer door sills (4) from center toward outside.
13	Install front door seal (2) in area of outer front door sill (1) on left and right
14	Install rear door seal (5) in area of outer rear door sill (4) on left and right	On model 222.1
15	Install inner front door sill (3) on left and right	Ensure that retaining clips are seated correctly on body and inner front door sills (3).
16	Install inner rear door sill (6) on left and right	On model 222.1 Ensure that retaining clips are seated correctly on body and rear door sills (6).
