Visual inspections
The visual inspection of the battery provides initial information about the state of the battery. Wear protective equipment for inspection as per the notes in the repair instructions.
ASSESSMENT STEPS
| If at least one of the checkpoints has "Yes" as an answer, then the lithium-ion 48 V battery is not safe for transportation and it is to be stored in accordance with the conditions governed by the guidelines for safe handling of lithium-ion batteries. Also contact the responsible MPC or general distributor. |
| If all assessed checkpoints have "No" as the answer, then the lithium-ion 48 V battery can be transported safely. |

| The connection terminals must have covers fitted to them for safety reasons. Include the following records with the package: |
