	Remove/install
1	Completely lower side window (2) on front door (1)
2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key
3	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003LF
4	Disconnect left front electrical connector (X35/1) or right front door electrical connector (X35/2)
5	Remove caps from bolts (3)
6	Remove bolts (3)	: Moisten thread on bolts (3) with Loctite. Repair paint damage in area of bolts (3).

		Model 222 except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) Bolt to hinge shaft	*BA72.10-P-1003-01V
		Thread locking agent, Loctite 243 (10 ml)	*BR00.45-Z-1133-02A
7	Mask front fender (4) and front door (1) as shown with adhesive tape (5)
8	Remove front door (1) from hinges and lay on a suitable base	Carefully remove front door (1). If the front door (1) comes into contact with the vehicle, the paint can be damaged. Helper required.
9	Install in the reverse order
10	Check gap dimensions on front door (1), correct if necessary		AR72.10-P-0550LF
11	Check for proper function and synchronize power window	Actuate button to close side window and hold for approx. 5 s. Then check whether side window opens or closes correctly.
