| 1 | Adjust driver seat backwards and steering column upwards | ||
| 2 | Switch on ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||
| 3 | Disconnect battery ground line | AR54.10-P-0003LF | |
| 4 | Remove screw/bolts (2) | *BA91.60-P-1003-011 | |
| 5 | Remove driver kneebag (1), until the electrical connector (arrow) of the driver kneebag squib is accessible | ||
| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (arrow) from driver kneebag squib | Fig 2 | |
| 7 | Remove driver kneebag (1) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order | ||

| 9 | Check and erase vehicle fault memory using the diagnostic system | When replacing the driver kneebag (1). | |
