| 4 | Clean area around fuel high-pressure pump (1) | Thoroughly clean area around fuel high-pressure pump (1) at points to be disconnected. Failure can occur otherwise to the fuel system Assembly cleaner |

| 5 | Remove screws (3) and remove fuel high-pressure pump (1) in upward direction | Remove/screw in screws (3) alternately by, in each case, half a turn. Fuel high-pressure pump (1) will otherwise be damaged. |
