Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. 	Remove/install
1	Remove fan unit.		AR20.40-P-5050MNL
2	Remove coolant lines (13) at coolant connections (10, 11).		AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
3	Remove clamping device for poly-V-belt of the alternator.		AR13.20-P-0010MNL
4	Unscrew screws (9) and remove bracket (14).	Bolt, belt tensioner bracket to crankcase/oil pan	*BA13.25-P-1004-01CA
5	Unscrew screws and remove coolant connection (11).	:  Replace sealing ring.

6	Remove vacuum lines (7) from lower coolant expansion reservoir (8).
7	Remove coolant line (1) from bracket (3).
8	Remove screws (2) and remove bracket (3).	M6X1	*BA00.10-P-1002-03A
9	Remove vacuum lines (7) at pressure transducer and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.	Record plug	Fig 4
10	Release and disconnect electrical connectors (12).
11	Remove electric lines (4) and electrical connector (12) at lower coolant expansion reservoir (8) and at bracket (5).	Dismantling tool	Fig 2
12	Remove coolant line (16) from lower coolant expansion reservoir (8) and drain low-temperature circuit coolant.		AR09.41-P-6834MNL
		:  Only fill low-temperature circuit coolant after installation of fan unit.
13	Seal openings using suitable protective covers.	Set of protective covers	Fig 3
14	Remove coolant line (15) from coolant connection (10).		AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
15	Remove screws (6).	Screw, low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir at bottom to charge air cooler/crankcase/cylinder head cover holder	*BA09.41-P-1010-01X
16	Remove lower coolant expansion reservoir (8) until coolant line (17) at lower coolant expansion reservoir (8) is accessible.	Do not crush, kink or subject coolant line (17) to tension. This will result in damage to coolant line (17) and can impair its function.
17	Remove coolant line (17) at lower coolant expansion reservoir (8) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.		AR20.30-P-0010-02XGA

	Check
18	Check elastomer bearings of charge air coolers for damage.	:  Wet elastomer bearings at charge air coolers wet with lubricant.
		Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L If damage is present: ↓ Replace appropriate elastomer bearing.	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
19	Remove pressure transducer at lower coolant expansion reservoir (8).	When replacing lower coolant expansion reservoir (8).

20	Remove bracket (5).	When replacing lower coolant expansion reservoir (8).
21	Install in the reverse order.
