Remove/Install Crank Window In Rear Door - AR72.12-P-1910LF

	Remove
1	Completely lower left and right side window (1)
2	Remove rear door lining		AR72.12-P-1010LF
3	Unclip window frame trim (2)	Remove clips remaining in window frame and install in window frame trim (2).

4	Remove roller sun blind (3)	Model 222.0/1/9 with code 297 (Electric roller sun blind in left and right rear door) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
5	Remove inner sealing rail (10)	Carefully lift inner sealing rail (10) out of bead of inner door panel. otherwise the inner sealing rail (10) can bend and must be replaced.

6	Pull out window guide seal (4) in area of B-pillar cover (6)
7	Pull out seal (4.1) in area of B-pillar cover (6)
8	Unscrew screws (5) from B-pillar cover (6)
9	Glue adhesive tape (8) to trim strip (9) as shown	The adhesive tape (8) protects trim strip (9) when removing B-pillar cover (6).
10	Remove B-pillar cover (6)
11	Remove rubber grommet (11) from door module	Model 222.9 except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) Additionally remove rubber grommet (11).
12	Connect electric wiring harness of removed door lining to left and right rear door control unit
13	Open side window (1) until bolt (12) is accessible through assembly opening in door module	Move side window (1) toward rear into window guide seal (4). Otherwise the paint on the front door frame can be damaged.
14	Remove screw (12)	Model 222.9 except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) Two screws (12) are present.
15	Remove side window (1) upward from window channel in rear door
	Install
16	Insert side window (1)	Guide side window (1) into window shaft in rear door and slide downward until mount makes contact. Then move toward rear into window guide seal (4).
17	Tighten screw (12)	Model 222.9 except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) Two screws (12) are present.
		Bolt, side window to window lifter	*BA72.12-P-1006-01Q
18	Completely lower side window (1)	Move side window (1) toward rear into window guide seal (4). Otherwise the paint on the front door frame can be damaged.
19	Moisten outer sealing rail (7) and B-pillar cover (6) in assembly area of B-pillar cover (6) with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
20	Install B-pillar cover (6)
21	Remove adhesive tape (8) from trim piece (9)
22	Unscrew bolts (5) on B-pillar cover (6)
23	Remove seal (4.1) in assembly area of B-pillar cover (6) with lubricant	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
24	Insert seal (4.1) into B-pillar cover (6)	Make sure that the seal (4.1) is seated correctly.
25	Remove window guide seal (4) in assembly area of B-pillar cover (6) with lubricant	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
26	Moisten window guide seal (4) below B-pillar cover (6) with soapy water	Soap solution has the required lubrication characteristics for the installation.
27	Insert window guide seal (4) into window guide rail and slide downward
28	Pull window guide rail (4) upward until the correct installation position is reached
29	Insert window guide seal (4) into window guide rail in area of B-pillar cover (6)	Ensure that window guide seal (4) is seated correctly.
30	Moisten obstruction sensor strip on inner sealing rail (10) with lubricant	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
31	Install inner sealing rail (10)
32	Perform test run for side window (1)	Completely close side window (1) and then open; check side window (1) for ease of movement. If complaint is present, loosen bolt (12) and adapt installation position of side window (1) correspondingly.
33	Install rubber grommet (11) into door module
34	Install roller sun blind (3)	Model 222.0/1 with code 297 (Electric roller sun blind in left and right rear door) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
35	Coat side window (1) in assembly area of window frame trim (2) with lubricant	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
36	Clip in window frame trim (2)	Ensure that window frame trim (2) is seated correctly.
37	Install rear door lining		AR72.12-P-1010LF
38	Check for proper function and synchronize power window
