Prepare Suspension Strut Tower For Installation - Ar62.20-P-1232-03LF

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Grind mating surfaces on suspension strut tower (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

2. Grind mating surfaces on suspension strut tower (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
3. Remove grinding dust.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

4. Grind mating surfaces on front mounting console (2) down to bare metal in the crosshatched areas.
5. Remove grinding dust.

6. Grind mating surfaces on rear mounting console (3) down to bare metal in the crosshatched areas.
7. Remove grinding dust.
