General 

The aim is always to attain the original condition of line protection following every repair carried out on wiring harnesses.

However, additional safety precautions may be necessary in areas exposed to particularly high stresses (e.g. moisture, chafing).

The following measures must be carried out depending on the use case:

• Protection of repair area with heat-shrinkable tube
• Protection of repair point by corrugated hose
• Protection of repair point by wrapping with fabric tape
