Remove/Install Rear Center Section Cover - AR68.30-P-4786ME

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Open tailgate.    
2 Remove spare wheel from load compartment. Model 167.9 with code 669 (Spare tire on steel rim) with code 811 (Advanced sound system) except code M036 (Maybach version)
Model 167.9 with code 669 (Spare tire on steel rim) with code U68 (Active engine sound generator) except code M036 (Maybach version)
 
3 Release edge guard in the area of the rear-end center section cover (1).    
4 Lift load compartment floor.    
5.1 Remove screw (2). Model 167.1  
5.2 Unscrew left and right screws (2). Model 167.3/9
IMPORTANT Model 167.3
Model 167.9 with code M036 (Maybach version)
Screws (2) are behind a cover.
 
6 Unclip rear-end center section cover (1) from the attachment points (arrows A) and remove. SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
7 Install in the reverse order.
