Remove/Install Paneling On Panoramic Sliding Roof - AR77.21-P-6920ME

WARNING Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
  Remove/install front trims (1, 2)     
1 Open panoramic sliding sunroof until inner front trims (1) and outer front trims (2) can be accessed.    
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
3 Unclip inner front trim (1) on left and/or right from front to rear and remove.    
4 Unclip outer front trim (2) on left and/or right, slightly swivel rear part inwards (arrow A), pull entire outer front trim (2) towards rear (arrow B) and remove. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that outer front trim (2) is correctly seated at roof frame segment (8).  
5 Install in the reverse order.    
  Remove/install trim of cross support (3)     
6 Unclip and remove trim of cross support (3).    
7 Install in the reverse order.    
  Remove/install rear trim (4)     
8 Unclip and remove trim of crossmember (3).    
9 Lift rear trim (4) on left and/or right in area of catch lug (7), slide towards rear, unclip and remove. IMPORTANT At a distance of 26.5 cm from rear end of end trim (4), insert suitable tool between rear trim (4) and panoramic sliding sunroof frame and release catch lug (7).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Check catch hooks (5, 6) are correctly seated.
Catch hook (6) has an additional catch lug (7).
This must be seated in guide as shown.
 
    SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
10 Install in the reverse order.
