Install Panoramic Sliding Roof Frame - AR77.21-P-0801-05ME

WARNING Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
Topical note  Notes on removal/installation of bonded elements of panoramic roof   AH77.21-P-0001-01A 
  1. Place panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) onto body.

    IMPORTANT Five helpers required.

    IMPORTANT Observe installation position of the windshield seal (arrow A).

  2. Align panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) with strips of adhesive tape.

    NOTES Do not move vehicle for at least 10 h after gluing in the panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1).

    The strength of the adhesively bonded connection is otherwise impaired and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

  3. Place loads on panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) during curing time of adhesive material.

    NOTES Use flat weights, e. g. sandbags.

    Otherwise the panoramic sliding roof frame (1) can be damaged.
