	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2	Remove center liftgate trim.		AR72.20-P-6618ME
3	Release and disconnect electrical connector a inner left rear lamp unit (E3/1) or inner right rear lamp unit (E4/1).
4	Unfasten nut (1).	The nut (1) remains on the inner rear lamp unit (E3/1 or E4/1).
5	Remove inner left rear lamp unit (E3/1) or inner right rear lamp unit (E4/1).
	Check
6	Check seal of rear lamp unit (E3/1 or E4/1) for damage.	If the seal of the rear lamp unit (E3/1 or E4/1) is damaged. ↓ Replace seal.
7	Install in the reverse order.
