| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Unclip inner cover (1) of inside rearview mirror (A67) using a suitable tool (arrows A) and remove rearward. | ||
| 3 | Slide outer cover (2) of inside rearview mirror (A67) forward out of guides (arrow B). | ||
| 4 | Remove overhead control panel control unit (N70). | AR82.20-P-1000ME | |
| 5 | Turn inside rearview mirror (A67) on mirror base (4) with a suitable tool until it unlocks from the mirror bracket noticeably. | Turn mirror base (4) clockwise to loosen. Otherwise, the electrical connector of the rain and light sensor with additional functions (B38/2) may be damaged. |

| 6 | Remove inside rearview mirror (A67) | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| Check | |||
| 8 | Check catch hooks of covers (1, 2). | If catch hooks are damaged, ↓ Replace corresponding cover (1 or 2). |

| 9 | Adjust inside rearview mirror (A67) to steering variant. | When replacing inside rearview mirror (A67). | |
