| 2 | Slide cover (1) of starter battery pre-fuse box (F150/1) until charging terminal point (2) is exposed. | ||
| 3 | Clamp charger positive terminal onto charging terminal point (2), then clamp charger ground clamp onto ground point (3). | ||

Do not reverse polarity. Otherwise a short circuit will cause damage. |

| 4 | Charge on-board electrical system battery. | Charge the on-board electrical system battery using an approved charger only. The on-board electrical system battery is sufficiently charged when the displayed charging current is < 5 A. |
