Remove/Install Soft Top Bow Up Limit Switch (Top/Bottom) - AR77.39-P-3700LWR

	Risk Of Injury when performing check and repair work in area of roll bar	Keep body parts out of the area where the roll bars extend. Do not use the cover in the area of the roll bar as a storage place for objects.	AS91.00-Z-0003-01LCA
	Remove
1	Move soft top to repair position R2	Do not secure soft top bow (1) against lowering.	AR77.30-P-1030LWR
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)	Where ignition is switched off, the pressure in the hydraulic system independently decreases after approx. 20 s and soft top bow (1) lowers.
3	Cover rear left fender
4	Lift soft top bow (1) until upper soft top bow limit switch (S84/8) is accessible and secure against lowering in this position	Helper required.
5	Knock rivet (2) off of soft top frame (3) and remove rivet residues	Helper required.
6	Expose wiring harness (4) and cut in area of retaining clips (5)	Cut wiring harness (4) so that the repair point is not stressed mechanically when opening and closing the soft top. Otherwise the repair point can be damaged.
7	Remove upper soft top bow limit switch (S84/8)
	Install
8	Shorten electrical lines of new upper soft top bow limit switch (S84/8) to corresponding length	If necessary.
	Risk Of Injury caused by burns to skin and eyes, Risk Of Poisoning caused by inhaling fumes during soldering.	Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated. Secure power supply cables. Avoid sources of fire in working area.	AS00.19-Z-0002-01A
9	Solder electrical lines of upper soft top bow limit switch (S84/8) to wiring harness (4) and insulate

11	Rivet upper soft top bow limit switch (S84/8) to soft top frame (3)	Pay attention to installation position. Helper required.
12	Remove retainers for repair position on soft top mechanism
13	Remove cover from rear left fender
14	Switch on ignition and completely close soft top
