Remove/Install Head Unit - AR82.85-P-1101LWM

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Perform commissioning of head unit (A26/17). When replacing head unit (A26/17).  
REFER TO SELF DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).    
3.1 Remove cover from center console. Model 205 with transmission 722, 724, 725 as of model year 2019

3.2 Remove cover for upper control panel control unit. Model 205 with transmission 716 as of model year 2019

4 Loosen screws (1) on locks (2). IMPORTANT Screws/bolts (1) remain on locks (2).  
5 Guide head unit (A26/17) out of locks (2). IMPORTANTInstallation:  The retaining bolts of the head unit (A26/17) must be inserted into the locks (2).  
6 Remove HERMES control unit (N112/9) and place to one side with connected lines. Model 205 as of model year 2019

7 Disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4). IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors (4) can vary depending on the equipment installed.  
8 Cover fiber-optic cable in electrical connector (3) and head unit (A26/17). If installed.  
9 Remove head unit (A26/17).    
10 Remove holder (5) from head unit (A26/17). When replacing the head unit (A26/17)  
11 Install in the reverse order.
