| 5 | Clean traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3) in the area of the brake line connections. | Thoroughly clean area around connecting points before opening hydraulic system. Otherwise minute particles of dirt in the hydraulic components can result in malfunctions and total failure of the hydraulic system. |

| 6 | Mark brake lines (3) relative to the corresponding connection on the traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3). | ||
| 7 | Remove brake lines (3) from traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. | Pay attention to marking. |

| 9 | Remove traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3) with Electronic Stability Program control unit (N30/4) upward out of elastomer bearings (7). | ||

| 10 | Check elastomer bearings (7) for damage and wear. | If there is a problem, ↓ Replace elastomer bearings (7). |

| 11 | Unscrew screw (5) and remove bracket (6). | If traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3) is replaced. | |
