- Cut through front adhesive bead (1a) from center outwards, arrows "A", using cutting wire.
Cover adjacent paint surfaces with
set of shields when cutting.
Otherwise paint can be damage by cutting wire.
Helper required.
Stop cutting process before area (B) at transition between front sliding sunroof frame segment (2) and rear sliding sunroof frame segment (3) is reached.
- To reach the rear adhesive bead (1b) during cutting towards the rear, "arrows C", guide cutting wire in area of (B) from outside under rear sliding sunroof frame segment (3).
Helper required.
- Slightly separate front sliding sunroof frame segment (2) and rear sliding sunroof frame segment (3) from each other in area "K" using a suitable wedge and guide inner end of cutting wire(S) in between.
Cover adjacent paint surfaces with
set of shields when cutting.
Paint can otherwise be damaged by cutting wire(S).
Helper required.
- Further guide cutting wire out of front adhesive bead (1a) in direction of arrow "C" and fully cut through rear adhesive bead (1b).
