	Remove
1	Remove detachable parts in area of repair point.
2	Unscrew bolts (13) on left and right at crossmember (1).
3	Unscrew bolts (10) on left and right at crossmember (2).
4.1	Remove the crossmembers (1, 2, 7) with the headlight supports (3), the struts (4, 6), the mounting consoles (5) and the lock striker eyelet (8).	Model 167 except code 239 (Adaptive cruise control Pro (DISTRONIC PRO)) except code 23P (Drive package) Aid of helper required.
4.2	Remove the crossmembers (1, 2, 7) with the headlight supports (3), the struts (4, 6), the mounting consoles (5), the lock striker eyelet (8) and the bracket (9).	Model 167 with code 239 (Adaptive cruise control Pro (DISTRONIC PRO)) Model 167 with code 23P (Drive package) Aid of helper required.
	Install
5	Install crossmember (1) and screw in bolts (13) on left and right until in contact.	Do not yet tighten bolts (13).
6	Install crossmember (2) and screw in bolts (10) until in contact.	Do not tighten bolts (10) yet.
7	Install strut (6), screw in bolts (12) and nut (24) until in contact.	Do not yet tighten bolts (12) and nuts (24).
8	Tighten bolts (13) on left and right.	Screw/bolt, crossmember to longitudinal member on outside	*BA62.30-P-1003-02I
9	Tighten bolts (10) on left and right.	Screw/nut, impact absorber to longitudinal member/crossmember	*BA62.30-P-1001-02I
10	Tighten screws (14) on left and right.	Screw, impact absorber/front crossmember to top crossmember	*BA62.30-P-1004-02I
11	Tighten bolts (12, 24).	Screw/bolt, cross strut to impact absorber	*BA62.30-P-1002-02I
12	Install lock striker (8), tighten bolts (18, 19)	Model 167Screw/bolt, bracket for safety hook to crossmember	*BA88.40-P-1009-01K
13	Install struts (4) on left and right and tighten bolts (17).
14	Install headlamp mounts (3) on left and right and tighten bolts/screw (15, 16).
15	Install mounting supports (5) on left and right, tighten bolts (23).
16	Install crossmember (7), tighten screws (22) and nuts (11).	Screw/nut, impact absorber to longitudinal member/crossmember	*BA62.30-P-1001-02I
17	Install bracket (9) and tighten screws/bolts (20 21).	Model 167 with code 239 (Adaptive cruise control Pro (DISTRONIC PRO)) Model 167 with code 23P (Drive package)
18	Apply wax at connections to body.		AR97.20-P-1500ME
19	Reinstall all detachable parts in area of repair point.
20	Adjust height of engine hood flush to left and right fender by turning nut (26) on left and right engine hood lock top section (25).	Model 167Bolt/nut, safety hook to engine hood	*BA88.40-P-1007-01K
