The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Transfer position of present holes in body to mounting console (1) with drill hole detector.
2. Mark position of rivet holes on mounting console (1).

   Dimensions  :

   a₁ = approx 12 mm

   a₂ = approx 17 mm

   b₁ = approx. 15 mm

   b₂ = approx 13 mm

3. Install mounting console (1) fit with straightening tool and fix in place.
4. Drill rivet holes with a diameter of 6.7 mm on mounting support (1) (area C, D and E).

   Drill rivet holes through present holes in body (areas C).

   Drill rivet holes at previously transferred positions on mounting support (1) (area D).

   Drill rivet holes at previously transferred positions on mounting console (1) (area E).

5. Drill rivet holes with a diameter of 6.7 mm on mounting support (1) (area F and G).

   Drill rivet holes at previously transferred positions on mounting console (1) (area F).

   Drill rivet holes at previously transferred positions on mounting support (1) (area G).

6. Remove mounting console (1).
7. Drill rivet holes in mounting console (1) and deburr on body on both sides.
8. Remove drilling chips.

9. Apply 2-component adhesive to body in crosshatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.

10. Install mounting console (1) with straightening tool and fix in place.
11. Rivet mounting support (1) with rivet with a diameter of 6.5 x 12.5 (area H).
12. Rivet mounting console (1) with Ø 6.5x14.5 rivet (area J).
13. Rivet mounting console (1) with Ø 6, 4 rivet (area K).

14. Rivet mounting support (1) with rivet with a diameter of 6.5 x 12.5 (area L).
15. Rivet mounting support (1) with rivet with a diameter of 6.5 x 14.5 (area M).
16. Rivet mounting console (1) with Ø 6.4 rivet (area N).
17. Rivet mounting console (1) with Ø 6.4 M6 rivet (area O).
18. Determine positions of missing weld studs from old part and transfer to mounting console (1).
19. Install missing weld studs on mounting console (1) with repair solution.
