Install Rear End - Ar64.20-P-1020-06LWG

Model 253.9 

1. Install rear end assembly (1) and fit.
2. Install trunk lid seal.
3. Install striker eye.
4. Check and adjust gap dimensions.
5. Fix rear end assembly (1) in place.
6. Remove trunk lid seal.
7. Remove striker eye.

   The following operation steps 8 and 9 are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle.

8. Drill rivet holes on rear end assembly (1) with Ø 6, 7 mm through present holes in body (areas A and B).
9. Countersink rivet hole from outside (area B).
10. Remove rear end (1).
11. Deburr rivet holes on rear end assembly (1) and body on both sides.
12. Remove drilling chips.
13. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.

14. Install rear end assembly (1) and fix in place.
15. Rivet rear end assembly (1) with Ø 6.4x14.0 countersunk-head rivet (areas G).
16. Rear end assembly (1) (areas F).

    The following operation steps 17, 18 and 19 are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle.

17. Rivet rear end assembly (1) with Ø 6.4x12 rivet (area C).
18. Rear end assembly (1) (areas D).
19. Install threaded stud bolt (2) and (area E).
