	Remove
1	Remove roof spoiler with center brake lamp.	Model 205.2, 253.1/9 Model 293	AR82.10-P-5375LWS
		Model 213.2 The center brake lamp must not be removed from the roof spoiler.	AR82.10-P-5376LWT
2	Remove headliner.		AR68.30-P-4300LWS
3	Unclip cover (2) and remove.
4	Remove liftgate control drive unit.	If the left hinge (1) is removed. Model 205.2, 213.2, 253.1/9, 293 with code 890 (EASY-PACK-tailgate)	AR72.29-P-5590LW
5	Secure liftgate (3) as shown with support (4).	Support	Fig 1
6	Remove cover (5) from hinge (1).
7	Mark installation position of the hinge (1) on roof frame (6) and on the liftgate (3).
8	Remove screws (7) from the liftgate (3).	Remove each hinge (1) separately only with liftgate (3) installed and support (4) attached. I both hinges (1) are to be removed, the second hinge (1) should only be removed after installing the first hinge (1). Otherwise the liftgate (3) can be damaged.
9	Remove screws (8) and remove hinge (1).
	Install
10	Align hinges (1) according to the markings on the roof frame (6) and tighten screws (8).	Bolt, hinge for liftgate to roof frame	*BA72.20-P-1001-02N
11	Align hinge (1) according to the markings on the liftgate (3) and tighten screws (7) slightly by hand.	Tighten bolts (7) only after adjusting liftgate (3).
12	Install liftgate control drive unit.	If left hinge (1) is removed. Model 205.2, 213.2, 253.1/9, 293 with code 890 (EASY-PACK-tailgate)	AR72.29-P-5590LW
13	Remove support (4).
14	Adjust tailgate (3).	Model 205.2, 213.2, 253.1/9	AR72.20-P-0002LW
		Model 293	AR72.20-P-0002EQ
15	Attach cover (5) to left and right hinge (1).
16	Install cover (2).
17	Install headliner.		AR68.30-P-4300LWS
18	Install roof spoiler with center brake lamp.	Model 205.2, 253.1/9, 293	AR82.10-P-5375LWS
		Model 213.2	AR82.10-P-5376LWT
