| 2 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) | ||
| 3 | Remove wire from trunk lid/liftgate lock | ||
| 4 | Loosen bolts (3) until trunk lid/liftgate control lock element (M14/31) can be removed | ||
| 5 | Move trunk lid/liftgate control lock element (M14/31) out of liftgate (1) and remove | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order |
