	Remove/install
1	Remove side window from the Front door.		AR72.10-P-1900LW
2	Disconnect ground line from battery.	Model 293	AR54.10-P-0003EQ
		Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253	AR54.10-P-0003LW
3	Release and disconnect left Front door electrical connector (X35/1) or right Front door electrical connector (X35/2) by pulling the bracket at the electrical coupling (2).
4	Pull out lock tab (4) until catch hook (5) can be actuated.	Extraction hook	Fig 3
5	Press catch hook (5) with a suitable screwdriver until the electrical plug (3) at the top can be tilted into the inner door panel.
6	Guide electrical plug (3) into the Front door.
7	Release and disconnect electrical couplings (6, 7) of the outside mirror from the left Front door control unit (N69/1) or right Front door control unit (N69/2).
8	Release mirror triangle trim (8) from the window frame trim.	Model 205.0/1/2, 253, 293 with code 810 (Sound system) Model 205.0/1/2, 253, 293 with code 853 ("Midline" sound system) Model 213 Allow mirror triangle paneling (8) to hang down with electrical line connected.

10	Disconnect electrical connector (red) (10.1) and remove electric lines (10) from the working area.	Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293 with code 270 (Aerial for GPS)
11	Disconnect electrical connector (white) (11.1) and remove electric lines (11) from the working area.	Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293 with code 501 (360° camera)
12	Disconnect electrical connector (black) (12.1) and remove electric lines (12) from the working area.	Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293 with code 274 (Telephone antenna)
13	Remove outside door handle.
14	Loosen screws (13).
15	Move bearing bracket (14) forward and unhook from door paneling.
16	Remove screws (15) from the door lock.	Screw/bolt, door lock to Front door	*BA72.10-P-1005-01W
17.1	Remove screws (16) from door module (1).	When fastening door module (1) using screws (16). Installation: Repair stage 1: If screws (16) turn freely, screws with a larger diameter are available from EPC for fastening the door module (1). Repair stage 2: If larger screws are also stripped out, rivets for mounting door module (1) are available from EPC.
17.2	Drill out rivet heads of rivets on the door module (1).	When fastening door module (1) with rivets. Commercially available devices/tools Blind rivet tool Use a 7 mm diameter drill bit. : Fasten door module (1) to Front door with rivets.
18	Remove door module (1) from Front door and remove.	Clip remover	Fig 4
19	Drill out top left and top right rivet residue.	When fastening door module (1) at top left and top right with rivets.
20	Press remaining rivet residues out of the inner door panel.	When fastening door module (1) with rivets. Removal tool	Fig 2
21	Completely remove rivet residues and chips from the Front door.	When fastening door module (1) with rivets. Remove rivet residues and shaving completely. Otherwise remaining rivet residues can cause corrosion damage on Front door.
22	Install in the reverse order.
