Install And Weld In Bottom Rear Center Section - Ar64.20-P-1000-08LWX

1. Install rear center section (1) and fit.
2. Install trunk lid seal.
3. Install striker eye.
4. Check and adjust gap dimensions.
5. Fix rear center section (1) in place.
6. Remove trunk lid seal.
7. Remove striker eye.

   The following operation steps 8 and 9 are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle.

8. Drill rivet holes in the rear-end center section (1) with a diameter of 6.7 mm through the existing holes in the body (area A and B).
9. Countersink rivet hole from outside (area B).
10. Remove rear center section (1).
11. Deburr rivet holes on rear center section (1) and body on both sides.
12. Remove drilling chips.
13. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.

14. Install rear center section (1) and fix in place.
15. Rivet rear-end center section (1) with countersunk-head blind rivets with a diameter of 6.4 x 15.5 (area C).
16. Weld in rear center section (1) with (area D).

    The following operation steps 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle.

17. Rivet rear center section (1) with Ø 6.4x12 rivet (area E₁ ).

    Clamping area 2.5 to 3.1 mm.

18. Rivet rear-end center section (1) with rivets with a diameter of 6.5 x 12.5 (area E₂ ).

    Clamping range 3.3 mm.

19. Rear-end center section (1) (area F).
20. Rear center section (1) (area G).
21. Install threaded stud bolt (2) and (area H).
