Prepare Body Flange For Rear Glass Roof For Installation - AR77.21-P-0600-07NKX

1. Using a scraper, cut back adhesive bead (1) at body flange to a residual height of approx. 1 to 2 mm.
2. Completely cut back residues of spacers (2, 3) and adhesive bead (1) present in this area.
3. Remove cutting residues from body flange with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
4. Repair paint damage on body flange.

   If required.

5. Apply primer in bonding area.

   In the case of missing residual adhesive material in bonding area.

   1. 6.1  Model 156

      with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)

      Once primer has dried, glue on new spacers (2) so that flush with body flange edge.

      Dimension (A): 200 mm, measured from lower edge at transition of roof frame to body flange.

   2. 6.2  Model 205, 253

      with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof) Once primer has dried, glue on new spacers (2) at center on front and rear body flange.
