Task 

The KEYLESS-GO Control unit is connected to the network architecture of the vehicle. The functions of the KEYLESS-GO Control unit are integrated in the electronic ignition lock Control unit in a Model-dependent manner.

The KEYLESS-GO Control unit and/or the KEYLESS-GO control in the electronic ignition lock Control unit controls the following functions:

• KEYLESS-GO start
• KEYLESS-GO (vehicles with KEYLESS-GO)
• HANDS-FREE ACCESS (vehicles with HANDS-FREE ACCESS)

For the implementation of the functions, the KEYLESS-GO control processes the following information among other things:

• Signals from the transmitter key or the Digital Vehicle Key (vehicles with vehicle access and drive authorization via mobile phone)
• Signals from the KEYLESS-GO antennae
• Signals from the sensors in the door handles (vehicles with KEYLESS-GO)
• Signals from the rear switch module for HANDS-FREE ACCESS (vehicles with HANDS-FREE ACCESS)
• Circuit status
• Service brake, status
• Status of central locking
• Status of start/stop button

The KEYLESS-GO control processes this information and transmits, among other things, the following information and requests via the network architecture:

• Convenience feature request
• Convenience feature direction
• Show messages request
