Remove/Install Center Air Vent - AR83.10-P-4509MFA

Model 118, 177, 243, 247

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Unclip trim element (6). Model 243.6, 247.6
SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge

3 Remove bolts_(7). Model 243.6, 247.6  
4 Unclip trim element (2) until the electrical connectors are accessible. NOTES Release trim element (2) uniformly from instrument panel.
In order to prevent damage.
NOTES Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Make sure that the retaining clips (4) are seated correctly.
IMPORTANT Make sure that no retaining tab (3) is damaged.
The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.
 
5 Release and disconnect electrical connects IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.  
6 Remove trim piece (2) and place on a suitable surface.    
7 Remove bolts (5).    
8 Remove air vents (1) from trim piece (2). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Note direction of installation.  
9 Install in the reverse order.
