Topical note	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2	Unclip trim element (6).	Model 243.6, 247.6 Long wedge	Fig 1
3	Remove bolts_(7).	Model 243.6, 247.6
4	Unclip trim element (2) until the electrical connectors are accessible.	Release trim element (2) uniformly from instrument panel. In order to prevent damage. Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. Make sure that the retaining clips (4) are seated correctly. Make sure that no retaining tab (3) is damaged. The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.
5	Release and disconnect electrical connects	The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.
6	Remove trim piece (2) and place on a suitable surface.
7	Remove bolts (5).
8	Remove air vents (1) from trim piece (2).	Note direction of installation.
9	Install in the reverse order.
